Curriculum
The Curriculum includes all core subjects, with all of the required directives of Common Core as determined by NY State Dept. of Education. In addition to the regular academic subjects taught in public and private schools in America, our School’s curriculum includes Arabic, Quran, and Islamic Studies courses as separate independent subjects. We are committed to instilling in the students the Islamic values, habits, attitudes, ethical standards, patience, and tolerance that are the characteristics of a good Muslim.

Pre-K through KG are taught Arabic based on the way Othman Mus-Haf is written. (i.e. the Madinah Mus-Haf). This way the child is also learning to read the Qur'an at an early age. New York State standards for second language learning are the guide in teaching Arabic Language for 1st grade and up. Students are able to read, comprehend, and write grade-appropriate material.

Our objective in teaching Al-Qur'an is to prepare the students at a young age to be able to read the Qur'an with Tajweed using state of the art technology that is issued to every student. Each year, students from 1st grade and up are expected to memorize half of a Juzz per year and revise the previous year's curriculum. Parental involvement is strongly effective in the child's daily Qur'anic recitation and memorization. We recommend at least 30 minutes of daily recitation of the Qur'an, 365 days a year.
