Tuition Assistance

Ongoing fund

Help ensure no child is turned away from an Islamic education because of a family’s finances. Gifts here go directly toward tuition support for families in need, and monthly giving makes the biggest difference.

Why it matters

We don’t just teach subjects. We shape souls.

Since 2003, MDQ Academy has grown into Suffolk County’s first and largest Islamic school: 400+ students, Pre-K through 12. Tuition keeps the school running; projects like these happen only when the community builds them together. Every dollar is a sadaqah jāriyah: as long as a student learns from it, your reward continues, inshaAllah.

“The best of you are those who learn the Qur’ān and teach it.”

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ · Sahih al-Bukhari

Questions about giving

Will I receive a receipt?

Yes. Square emails a receipt immediately after every online donation. For Zelle or mailed gifts, contact the school office and we will gladly send you a written acknowledgment.

Can I give monthly?

Absolutely. Choose Monthly above and your gift will repeat automatically each month. Monthly giving provides the steady support that lets us plan ahead for our students, and you can cancel at any time.

Can I direct my gift to a specific project?

Yes. Use Designate your gift in the donation box to give directly to the Gym & Auditorium Project, the Science Lab, or Tuition Assistance, 100% of a designated gift goes to that project. Gifts marked “where it’s needed most” are applied wherever the need is greatest.

Is online giving secure?

Your payment is processed entirely by Square, a PCI-compliant payment provider. MDQ Academy never sees or stores your card details.

Every gift is a sadaqah jāriyah, an investment that keeps giving.

Help us turn the gym into an auditorium and build the science lab our students deserve, and share in the reward every time a student uses them.
